A Modern Christmas Miracle

Please come prepared to sing 45-60 seconds of a song. It could be Broadway or Pop style since we have a variety of musical styles in the show. *You will also be asked to read from the script, so feel free to brush up on the character descriptions belowCostume/Rehearsal fee:  Range of $100-$175 based on the part you getRehearsals vary on age and part in the show, but we know how busy things can get and will keep them to a minimum as much as possible. We would rather have you come try out and then we can figure out what accommodations can be made, if needed. Performances to be in mid-December (Final dates coming soon).

Annalise Winter (42) - (Lead role) Kind and loving, natural beauty with bright eyes and shoulder length hair. She practically loves Christmas and her family. Every year she tries to create the “perfect” Christmas, but can never seem to get it right. This year she’s determined to bring her family back together, just in time for Christmas!

 

Rocky Winter (45) - (Supporting role)a 45-year-old Dad of 3 who adores his wife and kids. Stuck in the past with his 90’s rock obsession and still wanting to live out his glory days as the quarterback of his High School football team. Often oblivious to his wife’s needs, but tries. Easy going, go with the flow kind of Dad.

 

Natalia Winter (15) - (Lead role) A fashionable, high achieving, vibrant beauty with a personality that draws people in. Her magnetic social presence allows her to easily make friends and seems to glide through school hallways as if they were her stage.. She’s a cheerleader and aspiring singer/songwriter. She’s the type of girl that many other girls are envious of. She’s noticed the distance and stress in her family and is coping by taking everything out on her mom and throwing herself in her hobbies and her phone.

 

Jack Winter (13) - (Supporting role) A handsome boy with an athletic build and average height. Jack is a prankster that is often walking around with a cheeky grin on his face. He’s always thinking about his next playful trick to bug his mom and sisters. He loves his video games and sports and is secretly struggling with his friend group. Even though he’s mischievous, he doesn’t like getting into trouble at school.

 

Sophie Winter (7-9) - (Supporting role) An adorable girl with a charming personality that still believes in the magic of Christmas and wants to help her mom in any way. She loves to be her moms sidekick and just wants everyone to be happy.Francesca Bell (40’s) - (Supporting role) Gorgeous neighbor who is always pristinely put together in the latest fashions with hair and makeup done flawlessly. She comes off like she thinks she’s better than everyone, but deep down is just insecure to show her real self.

 

Stella Bell (16-17) - (Supporting role) A popular, somewhat snooty girl who some would describe as a mean girl. In front of parents she knows how to play innocent and sweet, but isn’t very nice unless there’s something in it for her. Nash Bell (14-15) - (Supporting role) A cute kid that excels in everything he does. He’s captain of the basketball team at school and seems to always have a flock of girls around.
